If you know my child, you know she's scared of Santa. Not just scared, PETRIFIED! She likes the idea of him, and the gifts he brings of course, but the thought of actually going to see him, sit on his lap & tell him what she wants for Christmas sends her straight over the edge! She decided this year to step it up a notch and "be a really good girl" so Santa (and Carter the Elf) would see that and hopefully reward her good deeds.
Here are a few of them...
She made me lunch one afternoon while I was in the office working and she was playing (I thought). She was SO excited about doing this by herself, and I'll definitely say it was the cutest, most creative meal I've had in a while!
(I loved how she got all fancy with the turkey and cheese)
She helped me with making Oreo Truffles and baking Chex Mix
She sent a letter to Santa (in lieu of a personal visit ;-) to tell him she would be in TN for Christmas Eve so he would have to bring her gifts there!

This girl was ALL ready for the big guy, she just knew she had been good and was getting some good stuff in return!
