We were so happy to be able to spend all of Christmas weekend in Tennessee with my in-laws! We had a wonderful time seeing everyone & were so happy to be able to spend more than one crazy day with them trying to fit everything in.
We arrived on Christmas Eve & had a great dinner (of Shepherd's Pie which I had never experienced before, I've so been missing out!) with them and then started the all-important Santa preparations!
First, Grana helped her make chocolate milk for Santa because according to Little One, "He brings better presents if you leave him chocolate milk!"
Then, we set out the reindeer food! We had never done this one before, but my friend made it and gave some to all the kids at her little girl's December birthday party & it was a huge hit! First thing in the morning she had to see if Santa ate his cookies and the reindeer ate their food!
She's all ready for "The Big Guy!"
"SANTA CAME!!!"

Christmas morning began bright and early and we had so much fun seeing what Santa brought and opening gifts from one another. The Little One is always "helping" open everyone's gifts so that usually means it takes .4 seconds for each gift to be ripped into and onto the next!

We had a nice morning and then enjoyed a great breakfast before going out to play in the gorgeous snow that had been steadily falling since we woke up! A white Christmas has always been a wonderful thought, but I had never actually experienced one & we enjoyed every minute of it!

Before borrowing the neighbor's sled, we tried several household items to sled down hills in!
The sled worked much better, she had so much fun!
Snowball fight with Uncle Andy!
"GOTCHA!!!"
